just got back from our hunting trip :) ..decided to clean the piece above and guess what? there was a Jawi newspaper pasted at the back panel of the cabinet. I almost ripped it out but stopped when i noticed the paper was dated 1932...:)...so now we know roughly how old is this cabinet
